A world of flowers at your finger tips

Cool Wave Pansies and Wave Petunias will both be shown at this month’s Floraliën event in Brabant, The Netherlands.

The Floraliën is a ten day event from May 9 until May 18 and will showcase the latest trends and the world’s greatest horticulture across 40,000m2! Three gardens and 100m2 of space has specially been designed and built to feature these three top products from PanAmerican Seed.

For the first time, Floraliën will be coming to The Netherlands and it is expected to attract between 125,000 and 150,000 visitors over the ten day period.

Marketing manager for Europe, Jeroen W. Ravensbergen said: “Our market leading products of spreading and trailing pansies, spreading and trailing petunias and award winning begonia are sure to attract a lot of attention from the visitors to the world’s biggest show of flower and plant varieties. We have worked with fantastic designers so that our display will stand out from the crowd.

“Cool Wave Pansies are new to market and there is a growing interest from consumers to bring something to their garden that is trailing, easy to look after, and looks good for a long time. Cool Wave Pansies can decorate the garden through cooler periods of the year in the autumn and spring and can also look great until the middle of summer. But the unique thing about Cool Wave Pansies is that they overwinter through even the coldest of cold winters!”

“Wave Petunias have been around for some 15 years, so there is nothing new in a spreading or hanging petunia. But what’s different about what we will show at Floraliën in the Netherlands, is the breeding in unique colours. We will showcase our large flowered spreading Easy Wave Velour coloured petunias in burgundy, berry and red. These colours are lush, velvety and deep and you just can’t take your eyes off them.

Cool Wave Pansies and Wave Petunias can be found in halls 1, 4 and 6 on all days the show, be sure to pay a visit!
